What a nice feeling to get that stuff shaved down to a very short stubble. Opted for it because the clipper-head design seemed better than rotaries. My first ever nose-mower. Downside: The 1/2-inch long head does not reach the concave divot area at the base of each nasal cavity just above the mustache area -- principally because the clipping mechanism doesn't start until about 1/4 inch down from the tip of the head, and with this design that's the only part of it that can reach that area. Results: good battery life, many uses with no reliability problems. Does an excellent job along all areas where the nostrils extend from the wall of the face. If you've got a garden of reeds growing in there as well, you'll need a 2nd rotary trimmer to reach them. or a pair of scissors.
This Norelco had some good reviews, but some said it needed more power. I don't find that to be a problem as it handles all of my needs quite well. A good product and a good price from Amazon.
It may seem like a small thing, but this kind of cleanliness is important to me. This device works so much better than similar, less substantial devices that cost just about the same. And hopefully it will last longer.
All in all, this is a very good product and does a very fine job. As always, the packaging is the most complicated - the product is sealed as tight as Fort Knox.
I'm very particular about trimming nose and ear hair. This is really a good nose and ear trimmer.
Ordered this product and now I am completely satisfied with its performance. I used to use an old Norelco battery operated razor for about 20 years.
The blades finally wore out and I was left with the problem of replacing it. Gee, I wish they could make packaging more simple to get into.
I highly recommend it.
The product is poor. I have had two of them,(Phillips shipped the 2nd one with no problem). Trouble is, each of them worked only once, and I trashed the second one. It surprises me that a company of this size would produce such an unreliable "toy".
